Trojan Records is widely credited for introducing Jamaican music to the UK. Since it’s creation in 1968, the label has pioneered a range of musical styles from early reggae and rocksteady, through ska and dub, right up to modern dancehall and jungle.Featuring an illustrious roster of artists such as Bob Marley & The Wailers, Dennis Brown, John Holt, Ken Boothe and Toots & The Maytals, the quality of Trojan’s music is just as strong as it’s heritage. Coupled with many years of experience compiling tracks for their outstanding series of compilations, we are very lucky to have the Trojan team curating a regular playlist here at Digster. Enjoy!
