Digster is a service that publishes playlists for use in Spotify and iTunes.

Our playlists are compiled by a team of editors with extensive musical knowledge and the experience to select tracks which suit the mood or purpose of the playlist.

All playlists on Digster are marked with an icon to symbolise the mood or situation we think they are best suited to. These are only suggestions though, so if you feel like listening to party music while you’re relaxing that’s entirely up to you!

Digster is operated by the world’s largest record label Universal Music, but our playlists feature music from all artists and record labels. We want to bring you the best tracks regardless of where it comes from!

Digster’s team of specialist editors select the best music for our playlists, which you can then import into iTunes and Spotify. You can listen to our playlists for free on Spotify open, which is funded by adverts. If you want to disable these adverts you can pay a monthly fee to enjoy uninterrupted music. Every track and playlist on Digster is linked to a corresponding playlist on iTunes, so if you like a playlist you can buy all or a selection of tracks with just a few clicks. The price to download a playlist is set by iTunes and is the sum of the individual price of every track in the playlist. Any music you buy on iTunes is yours to keep. We at Digster want to make it as easy as possible for you to find the right music to match your mood or situation, so we have created a system of descriptive icons to guide you through our playlists. For example there are icons to indicate that we think a playlist is suitable for relaxing, or a workout, or a dinner party. We hope this makes it easier for you to find what you are looking for, though whether you decide to follow the suggestions made by these icons is entirely up to you!

Live is the term we use for Digster playlists that are continuously updated. You only have to subscribe to a Live playlist once in Spotify, we take care of the rest.

You can buy a Live playlist in iTunes even if it contains songs that you have already bought. iTunes makes sure you only pay for new tracks.

Playlists marked with the ‘Live’ symbol are usually updated once a week. This doesn’t necessarily mean every track in the playlist will be changed at the same time; the type of playlist and the decision of the editor will determine how many of the tracks are changed.

The numbered playlists on Digster do not change, so if you find a numbered playlist you really like you can replay it at any time without worrying that the tracks will have changed.

Other playlists are updated depending on their theme. For example a playlist of tracks based on an artist’s tour might change to reflect the songs they have played at each concert.

The numbered playlists on Digster are part of a series. These playlists are not changed once they have been published so your favourite tracks will always be available.

Playlists with a black background have been created by the artists themselves, providing both an incredible collection of music and an insight into the music that inspires your favourite acts.

Some of the content on Digster is only available to users with a Digster Premium account. If you are not a premium account holder you can access this content by registering for Digster Premium.

If you have a Digster value code you can use it to access Digster Premium content for free. The duration of this free period will vary depending on your code.

You can redeem a value code by submitting it on your profile settings page. The codes are case-sensitive so please ensure you type both lower and upper case letters exactly as they appear in your code.

You can easily upgrade your account to Digster Premium by logging in and going to your Settings page.

Our email newsletter is usually sent every second week. It will keep you up to date with the new playlists on Digster and changes to our Live playlists.

You can unsubscribe from the Digster newsletter without having to close your Digster account.

We will inform you of any special offers which we think you might be interested in such as tickets to a showcase event

Make sure that the Digster newsletter doesn’t end up in you junk folder by adding Digster to your address book

You can do this at any time according to the Terms and conditions which you accept when signing up. If you have Digster Premium all future payments will be cancelled immediately. If you only want to unsubscribe from the newsletter you can do this on the Settings page. If you want to delete your Digster account, please send an e-mail to support@digster.co.uk and we’ll fix it for you!
